Pin Point Recruitment Arc final live on Sky Sports 2 - Wednesday 16 April

AFTER Irish interest in Saturday's Scottish Derby final courtesy of runner-up Mind The Net and fifth-placed Metro Jack, All About Ya bids to strike for the Emerald Isle in Wednesday's Pin Point Recruitment Arc final at Swindon - and Peter Cronin's dog could well start favourite to land the
£8,000 prize.

A winner of both his heat and semi-final, the William Rigney-owned runner is drawn side by side to his former kennelmate Sidaz Harris, who so impressed trainer Ian Aylward in the heats of the 480m competition, he bought the dog from Peter Cronin before the semis!

Sidaz Harris also won his semi-final, while Zero Two struck a blow for the locals when winning his qualifier for Matt Dartnall, but will have to overcome a wider draw now in trap five. However, his early pace has been impressive in the event thus far.

Liz McNair sends out King Dec looking to repeat the kennel's success with track record-breaking Shaneboy Alley 12 months ago, while the field is completed by Seamus Cahill's Islas Scolari, who is part-owned by Hove bookmaker Charlie Miller. Benkaat Nero was withdrawn lame on Tuesday morning but trainer Mark Wallis reports nothing serious with the dog who will be aimed at the William Hill Derby.

The Pin Point Recruitment Arc final and supporting card is the latest in a series of sponsorships announced and confirmed in 2014 by north-east businessman Alan Findlay, an owner with Sunderland trainer Kelly Macari.

Latest betting: 7-4 All About Ya, 5-2 Sidaz Harris, 6 King Dec, Zero Two, Islas Scolari, 10 Benkaat Nero.
