Veterinary Kennel Inspections

The Greyhound Regulatory Board (GRB), having been advised by the Welfare Committee, the Veterinary Sub-Committee and the Rules of Racing Committee, decided at their GRB meeting held on 30th July 2010 that from 1st January 2011 that all Trainers would be required to have an Annual Veterinary Inspection, irrespective of how many greyhounds they had. Details of this requirement were set out in the Licence Renewal letter sent out to all Trainers in October 2010.

All Trainers are asked to arrange for their Annual Veterinary Inspection to take place using the form below.

The completed form must be returned to the GBGB offices by the inspecting Veterinary Surgeon no later than Friday 1st September 2017.

Failure to arrange for this form to be completed and returned by the due date may result in disciplinary action being taken.

Trainer's should contact their Veterinary Surgeon as soon as practicable to make an appointment and avoid missing the deadline.

A copy of the Inspection form will be kept on file at GBGB with a copy also going to the Trainer's Area Stipendiary Steward.
