~New system live at GBGB-licensed tracks set to bring operational and financial benefits to the sport~

The Greyhound Board of Great Britain (GBGB) is pleased to announce that its new Racing Office System is now operational at licensed tracks, following its successful launch on 1st October.

Built for GBGB by Racing and Sports, the system replaces RaceTech and provides the software which tracks use to enter both race cards and results for distribution to the industry. Further features are due to be rolled out over the coming months.

The launch of this new system forms part of the digital transformation program which GBGB is undertaking to enhance functionality, increase operating efficiency and bring real-time race information for the benefit of all stakeholders.

Commenting on the launch, Mark Moisley, GBGB Commercial Director, said:

“This successful launch is the result of a huge amount of work and collaboration between GBGB and Racing and Sports and will see considerable benefits to the sport both operationally and financially, with projected savings of over half a million pounds per year. We would like to thank tracks for their support during the implementation process and look forward to further enhancements to the system over the coming months.”

Brent Dolan, Managing Director for Racing and Sports UK & Europe, added:

“It has taken over a year’s worth of planning and development in conjunction with our partners at GBGB to get to where we are, and further enhancements are being planned to streamline services. The positive development and roll out of this project have been a real testament to everyone involved. We look forward to working with all Racing Offices in collaboration with GBGB in the future.”
