The Greyhound Board of Great Britain is pleased to announce the move to electronic registrations and transfer of ownerships as part of the wider Digital Transformation Programme.

Following a successful trial period since the start of the year as of Monday 6th October 2025, all registration and transfer documentation must be sent to the Registry department via the Racing Offices by email.

The move will enable us to be more efficient, improving the registration and transfer processes, eliminating the ever-increasing postage costs and risk of documents being lost in the post. Please note however that although this will speed up the overall registration/transfer method, we still retain the right to five working days to process any registrations or transfers, as per Rule 188(i) of the Rules of Racing.

Each document should be completed in black ink and in block capitals and submitted alongside all relevant documentation.

For those Tracks whose Trainers/Owners pay us direct, you can still submit the paperwork to us electronically.  We will retain it until payment is received.

Please remember that for British Bred dogs that require a transfer of ownership, you are still required to ensure that the relevant amendments are made with the Greyhound Stud Book first.
