We are currently looking for a Research & Data Analyst to join us.  Reporting to the Executive Veterinary Surgeon the main purpose of this brand new position, is to provide analytical support and insight to the GBGB Welfare and Veterinary Standing Committee.

This support will provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of data generated through their own or team projects. On some projects the post holder will have an opportunity to design, research and report from end to end, with collaboration from other members of the team and, occasionally, with external academics.

Candidates must have a Graduate/Post Graduate qualification (or equivalent) and have an excellent understanding of research principles and data and associated collection, interpretation, cleaning, and presentation of such.

It is essential that candidates have experience of using platforms for data collection, production, and analysis, as well as experience in applying appropriate analytical tools and methods to provide high-quality quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Previous predictive modelling experience would be an advantage.

Candidates must possess excellent IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and communication skills (both written and oral), as well as the ability to work well under pressure and excellent report writing skills.

Salary: £45k per annum.

This is a full-time position, working 35 hours, five days per week, Monday to Friday and is offered on a hybrid working basis.
