Following the launch of GBGB’s new long-term welfare strategy for licensed greyhound racing, ‘A Good Life for Every Greyhound‘, RPGTV’s Julie Collier spoke to GBGB Independent Director Professor Madeleine Campbell, who led the development of the strategy.

Building on the Greyhound Commitment, the strategy represents yet another step change in welfare standards within licensed greyhound racing.  Most notably, it sets out how GBGB – working in partnership with others – will seek to look after the welfare of greyhounds throughout their lives – not just the period they are racing.

In the five-part interview, links for which you can find below, they discuss the contents of the strategy, the progress that has already been made in the past years to strengthen welfare within the sport and the steps GBGB and partners will be taking to bring the strategy to life over the coming months.
