Racecourse Staff and Local Officials

There are a range of wider staff working across the sport who are also required to be licensed by GBGB.

These include local officials and staff working with greyhounds at our licensed racecourses e.g. track stewards.

Applying for a Licence

To apply for this type of licence, please download a Local Official Application.

Once you have completed this, you will need the Racing Manager at the relevant racecourse to countersign the form and arrange for it to be sent to GBGB, along with any relevant identity documentation and photos. Your application will then be considered and, should you meet all the necessary criteria, your licence will be issued.
